I was a participant in the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) program in 2015,organised by the US State Department. We were invited to the White House for a dialogue with the then President, Barack Obama.
In 2017, I was invited by the Danish Institute for Parties and Democracy (DIPD) to observe local government elections. The lady next to me is Mette Frederiksen, the current leader of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

After waiting for 30 long years, land titles were nally granted to 35 landowners in Kampung Chempaka in 2017 – thanks to the new land policy introduced after we took over Selangor from BN in 2008.
In 2017, we organised a‘Borneo Carnival’ to foster good relations between East and West Malaysians.
Every year, we ‘buka puasa’ (break fast) with the Muslim community in various mosques and suraus in my constituency. I want to be the wakil rakyat for all Malaysians.
